It's "game on" for freshman Wistrom and the Questions

Each week, LouisvilleCatholicSports.com will be getting to know a new student-athlete from the area by asking him/her a series of 20 key questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the boys and girls who are doing great things on and off the local courts, fields, tracks, and courses. Below are the "20 Key Questions," brought to you by Key Financial Mortgage LLC.

Sacred Heart Academy freshman Caroline Wistrom is a "gamer" in every sense of the word.

Including a left-footed blast that tied the regional championship game against Assumption High School with 15:38 to play this week, Wistrom's three goals during the two-game Region 7 girls soccer tournament led the Valkyries to a fifth consecutve regional title over the Rockets, and kept SHA's hopes for a fourth consecutive state championship alive.

But off the field, Wistrom isn't afraid to take on other types of games. And whether it's a board game with her family, a card game with her friends, or a digital game by herself via iPhone application, Wistrom is confident that she can set the high score in any type of game you put in front of her.

As stated, Wistrom is a freshman at Sacred Heart, and she has already made a tremendous impact on the storied program regardless of her youth. Should the Valkyries' incredible streak of regional and state titles continue, it is likely that Wistrom will have a significant impact on keeping it alive.
