Trinity QB making all the right moves in 2010

Each week, LouisvilleCatholicSports.com will be getting to know a new student-athlete from the area by asking him/her a series of 20 key questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the boys and girls who are doing great things on and off the local courts, fields, tracks, and courses. Below are the "20 Key Questions," brought to you by Key Financial Mortgage LLC.

Some Trinity quarterbacks have to wait three years to get their shot at starting against rival St. Xavier in “The Game.” But not Travis Wright. The sophomore, whose talent some have compared to Shamrocks great Brian Brohm, has made all the right moves thus far in 2010, and is off to an amazing start this season.

After five starts at quarterback, Wright is showing the poise of a senior at the quarterback position for the Shamrocks. He is now 85-of-117 for 873 passing yards, has thrown six touchdowns and three interceptions, and has the Rocks off to a 4-1 start.

Despite playing just three series during last week’s 14-12 win over Bowling Green due to illness during, Wright should be ready to take the field tonight against the Tigers - a game that will be undoubtedly be a significant part of his legacy when it’s all said and done.
