Trinity lacrosse alum earns conference honors

Centre College freshman and Trinity High School graduate Zack Connors is making waves in his first season with the Colonels, as the attackman has been named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Second Team.

Connors, who netted 31 goals this season with Centre, is one of just five freshmen to make the second team and only one of six total freshmen to be named to the All-SCAC Team.

He is also one of three Colonels to earn postseason recognition. Connors' teammate Clayton Brown (Louisville Collegiate alum) was also named to the All-SCAC Second team.

While with the Shamrocks, Connors was a member of the 2007 state championship team, a 2010 All-American, and holds the record as Trinity LAX all-time leading goal scorer (122) during his four years with the Rocks.

This was the inaugural men's lacrosse season for the Centre program, which finished with a 3-10 record (2-5 in conference).
