Holy Cross High School senior takes on the Questions

Each week, LouisvilleCatholicSports.com will be getting to know a new student-athlete from the area by asking him/her a series of 20 questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the boys and girls who are doing great things on and off the local courts, fields, tracks, and courses.

The annual football rivalry between Holy Cross High School and DeSales High School will commence on Friday night at Iroquois and the Cougars will be looking for its second straight win over the Colts, after the team's 12-0 win in last year's matchup.

Since the beginning of the 2010 season to now, Holy Cross has put together a 14-2 record and has become a team to be reckoned with in Kentucky's Class A, and they've done so with a complete team effort and behind the contributions of many versatile athletes.

One of those consistent contributors, who will take the field on Friday during his final Holy Cross-DeSales game, is Cougars senior defensive end and wide receiver Luke Lanham. A four-year member of the varsity team and two-year starter, Lanham accumulated nearly 50 tackles last season and is having another strong year for Head Coach Mike Fletcher.

Also a member of the Holy Cross baseball team, Lanham says he is considering UofL, UK and Eastern Kentucky as possible college options.

But before he takes the field for one last crack at DeSales, Lanham participated in this week's edition of the LouisvilleCatholicSports.com "20 Questions" segment, and his answers are below.
