Sacred Hearts holds stuent-athlete signing day ceremony

Sacred Heart Academy athletic director Donna Moir didn't haphazardly choose Thursday as the date to hold the school's winter signing day for its college-bound student-athletes.

With the craze of Wednesday's college football National Signing Day filling up the airwaves, Moir waited until the day after to give appropriate recognition to the six Valkyries who signed National Letters of Intent to play collegiate athletics.

And that's just what they received.

In front of classmates, family members and coaches, the following group of accomplished Sacred Heart seniors made their college decisions official.
