  • GPA: 3.1

  • Bio: A senior at St. X, McFarland  has played baseball all four years and played football his freshman year. He loves to spend time with friends and family, going swimming in the summer at Lakeside and playing baseball to get what he calls a "sweet farmers tan." He's also a member of the 56-day club at St. Xavier, a group that pledges to donate blood every 56 days. His college plans are undecided.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment?

My first homerun for St. X my freshman year.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game?

An Arnold Palmer from Speedway and Fig Newtons

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song?

"Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim (I'm not a quality singer).

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why?

Scott Rolen because he is a very hard worker and he is a very humble man.

5. What is your favorite movie quote?

"Big gulps huh? Welp, see ya later"-Dumb and Dumber

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports?

I know God is watching over everything I do. I know He has a plan for me but that he wants me to have fun while that plan works out. I know that He pays for front row seats for both my grandpas and my grandma to watch me play while they are in heaven.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character?

"Is mayonnaise an instrument?"- Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants. Definitely my favorite cartoon character.

8. All time favorite board game?

Trouble. Such a classic game

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app?

I'm a Droid kind of guy. I seem to find myself using the flashlight app a lot for some reason.

10. What is your favorite local (non chain) restaurant?

The Dundee Tavern. The cheeseballs are delish.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show?

Flavor of Love. I learned everything I know about love from Flava Flave...not really

12. What is your greatest fear?

13. What is your best quality/characteristic?

I always have a smile on my face and I try to be nice to everyone.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food?

Raw cookie dough

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why?

3 o'clock when the bell rings

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

I have a lot actually. Boogs, Juke Masta C, Cheez Wiz, 2 dub and McNearwater. All given to me by my baseball team.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service?

Habitat for humanity because I love to do hands on activities and build or create things.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess?

It's not that hidden but I can do flips on the ground and more flips off the diving board.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why?

I would go backwards because I would go back to when times were simpler. I like the future to be unknown so I enjoy the simple surprises of life.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask?

O.J. Simpson; Did you do it?
