Trinity 2012 Football Schedule Released
Two-time defending state champs play four home, four away and The Game
The Trinity Shamrocks have released their 2012 varsity football schedule. The two-time defending state champions and the reigning No. 1 or No. 2 ranked team in the country (depending on the poll) have almost the identical schedule as they did in 2011.
The Shamrocks will travel to Nashville to play Montgomery Bell Academy, Indianapolis, to play Cathedral, and Cincinnati, to play Archbishop Moeller, with all of those teams having visited Trinity’s Marshall Stadium last year. The Rocks will also play a district game at Manual.
For their home slate, the Shamrocks will host Brentwood Academy (TN), Cincinnati Elder, Cincinnati St. Xavier and Male. And, as always, the Rocks and arch rival St.Xavier will play at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in The Game on September 28.
