2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? A blue Gatorade and a few of my Mom's chocolate cookies.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? 3. A Woman like You  - Lee Brice. Some people would pay good money to hear us sing that song in the back of the bus.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Tim Tebow - he is a very humble individual, and always gives all glory to God no matter what the result is. When he faces adversity, he doesn't give up until he proves everyone wrong.

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? Faith is the backbone to everything I do. Without God, I would not be where I am today. Most importantly, my faith is there to pick me up when things do not go the way I plan.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Scooby Doo still makes me laugh to this day.

8. All-time favorite board game? The game Risk, my friends and I try to get a few games of risk in everyday during school on the IPad. .

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? I love playing baseball games at 9 a.m. Nothing better than waking up to play a great game of baseball

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Melch-Daddy, I really don't know how it got started but it did.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? I was the assistant coach on the St. Patrick 8th grade A basketball team that won a City Title.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess?  I actually am a really good cook and make some pretty good cookies and sandwiches. My teammates get to experience my skills on occasion.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would travel back to when I was 10 or 11 years old during the summer when we played baseball tournaments every weekend. I had some great times on the Panthers.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask Lee Harvey Oswald how many people were involved with the shooting of John F Kennedy, just so everyone on my team would stop talking about the "conspiracy.”
