Bio: I’m a 4-year varsity lacrosse player at Trinity High School, and I have committed to play lacrosse at Amherst College next year. I’m also a very dedicated student who holds a 4.0 GPA and was a 2013 Academic All-American.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Winning the state championship with my teammates.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? I usually eat a turkey sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and mayo.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? “More than a Feeling” by Boston. It has become a classic with my friends and I.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Tom Brady definitely serves as an athletic role model for me. As a huge Pats fan, his journey from being a sixth round draft pick to arguably the best quarterback to ever play the game is both fascinating and inspiring.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you, you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” – The Pursuit of Happyness

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? Our prayer in the huddle before every game is one thing I can count on to get me ready to play.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? I used to love Spongebob, and Patrick Star was always my favorite.

8. All time favorite board game? Yahtzee, my sister and I play all the time.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? iPhone. My favorite app is probably Twitter

10. What is your favorite local (non chain) restaurant? Coal’s Pizza, best pizza in town.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? I don’t watch much reality TV, but Deadliest Catch has always been one of my favorites.

12. What is your greatest fear? I’m not a fan of heights, rollercoasters, etc.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? I think I’ve developed a great work ethic, which is very important to me.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Macaroni and Cheese, extra cheesy.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? My favorite time of the day is late at night because I’m a bit of a night owl and I enjoy the time alone.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? I’ve heard nicknames like Codester and Codes before, but none of them have really caught on.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? One of my favorite volunteer experiences has been coaching the Trinity lacrosse camp. It’s awesome to give back to the kids who are the future of the sport.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I’m a pretty skilled gamer, especially when it comes to FIFA soccer and NHL hockey.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I’d travel forward. I’m not much of a history guy, and I definitely want to see where the world’s heading.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask Steve Jobs what it was like to get fired from his own company, and how he motivated himself to persevere and become one of the most innovative minds of the 21st century.
