CSAA: Softball results

Over the weekend, the CSAA held its annual softball tournament at St. Rita’s field. St. Andrew Academy squared off with St. Bernard in the eighth grade championship game while St. Paul battled St. Nicholas Academy for the sixth grade crown.
In the championship, St. Andrew Academy cruised past St. Bernard 10-0 to win the eighth grade crown. St. Paul defeated St. Nicholas Academy 11-2in the sixth grade title game.
Prior to the title game, St. Andrew Academy received a first round bye and defeated St. Stephen Martyr 4-2 in the semifinals. St. Bernard also received a first round bye and defeated St. Athanasius 5-1 in the semifinals.
Before the sixth grade championship, St. Paul defeated St. Margaret Mary 11-1 in the quarterfinals, and St. Gabriel 5-1 in the semis.
St. Nicholas Academy defeated St. Athanasius 11-0 in the semis and St. Bernard 6-0 in the quarterfinals before losing to St. Paul in the championship
