CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Bellarmine University's Maggie Schad and Leah Pehlke were among the 644 collegiate golfers honored as All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association for the 2012-13 school year.  Recipients of the award must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5  or better and be active members of the golf team.

Schad, who graduated in May with bachelor's degree in biology, was four-year member of the golf team and is a former All-Great Lakes Valley Conference performer.  This year, Schad played in all of Bellarmine's 16 competitive rounds with a low score of 79 at the Perry Park Spring Fling.  Pehlke, a rising senior who recently tied for seventh at the Lexmark Kentucky Women's Open, also competed in all 16 rounds for Bellarmine during the past season. She led the Knights with a scoring average of 82.3, including a low round of 74 at the GLVC Championship.
