Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic, since 1974, has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.

On a weekly basis, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to sponsor the "20 Questions" that will feature a high school student-athlete in the local Catholic high school community. Current school: DeSales.

Current Sports playing: Basketball.

Parish/grade school attended: St. Nicholas.

Colleges considering or attending: Louisville, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Spalding.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Making the buzzer beater to send us to overtime against Iroquois in the first round of districts last season.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Foot long Subway Melt from Subway.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? "I believe I can fly" – Space Jam.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Teddy Bridgewater because I like how he always plays hard and tough after everything he has been through. He taught me to never give up no matter how bad things can get at sometimes.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.” – "Pursuit of Happyness."

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? I pray before each game to calm me down and get me ready to play

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Scooby Doo.

8. All-time favorite board game? Monopoly.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? IPhone and Twitter

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? Spinellis.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? "Law and Order SVU" (special victims unit).

12. What is your greatest fear? Spiders.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? Being clever.  

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Grandma's peanut butter cookies.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? 7:30 p.m. because that’s what time our games start.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Phil and I got it from my old AAU baseball team (Louisville Samurai).

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? St. Vincent de Paul.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? Juggling.  

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why?  I would choose backwards and then I would go back to make better decisions with the things that I know now.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask God why bad things happen to good people.
