1. What is your proudest athletic moment? When I won the 200 Backstroke at the 2010 Southern Zones Championships.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Brown cinnamon sugar pop tarts.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? My friend Summer Stephens who's a former aqua valk and now swims for the University of Florida.

She set the ideal example for me on how to perfectly balance a stressful schedule of school, practices, family and friends. She portrayed the characteristics of a leader by always having a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and being a team player, and I do my best to emulate her as a role model.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? "You do have the right to remain an attorney." -21 Jump Street.

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? My faith is a very personal relationship I share with God. He's influenced me in such incredible ways by always giving me courage and confidence. I pray before my meets asking that God gives me the courage to do my best and the confidence that my hard work will pay off.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Salt and vinegar chips, I used to eat an entire bag by myself.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Ashbash12345, I used it as a username for an app and it just stuck, not so much a nickname.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? The Special Olympics; I've been volunteering since I was nine and now help to coordinate and run the meet. It is such a fun environment to be in with the swimmers; they reinforce the idea of why I started swimming and why I love it so much.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? Backwards because my childhood was so much fun, and looking back on pictures from the past makes me realize how blessed I am to have so many memories I cherish.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask Harry Styles' to ask me to marry him.
