Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Either getting into the Sixth Region finals or beating E’town at home last year.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Pasta with steamed broccoli and carrot or  grilled chicken.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? Read all about by Emeli Sande.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Jude Schimmel, I have a personal connection with her and she’s a great role model to have.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “Oh yes, the past can hurt, but either you can run from it or learn from it” – Rafiki from the Lion King.

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? I always think positive even when somebody gets a major injury or there are hard times. God has a plan for us all and everything happens for a reason.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Minnie Mouse.

8. All-time favorite board game? Monopoly.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? Iphone – twitter or Instagram.

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? McAllister Deli.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? Americas got Talent.

12. What is your greatest fear? Being stuck in the middle of nowhere by myself.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? I’m very outgoing once you get to know me.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Chocolate covered bananas.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? Between 6 and 7 p.m. because I get home, I get to eat dinner with my family, and relax.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Jess, people didn’t like calling me by my full name.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Trinity High School concessions.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I was a gymnast up until about a year ago.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would go backwards to see my grandpa and talk to him one more time.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask my deceased grandpa what heaven is really like and if we should be afraid to die.
