Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.         

On a weekly basis, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to sponsor the "20 Questions" that will feature a high school student-athlete in the local Catholic high school community.   1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Hitting a home run off the first pitch in the first inning during regionals.
  2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Our great softball parents bring snacks before each game. Each game is different. I love it all.
  3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? “Play Something Sweet (Brickyard Blues)” by Three Dog Night.
  4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? My cousins Brent and Garrett Celek both play football in the NFL. They worked very hard to get there and continue to work hard at that level.
  5. What is your favorite movie quote? “You’re killin me smalls” - Sandlot
  6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? I pray daily that I can be the best person God wants me to be. This includes my athletics.
  7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Donkey from Shrek.
  8. All-time favorite board game? Monopoly Empire.
  9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? Droid, Instagram.
  10. What is your favorite local (non chain) restaurant? Za’s Pizza.
  11. What is your favorite reality TV show? The Voice.
  12. What is your greatest fear? Public speaking.
  13. What is your best quality/characteristic? My best quality is caring for others and being able to make others happy.
  14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Sour patch kids.
  15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? 11:00 p.m. because I can finally lie down, relax, and go to bed.
  16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? My nickname is KJ because my middle name is June. My summer softball team had four other Kaitlyns on it so I was nicknamed KJ.
  17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Hosparus of Louisville.
  18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I am an awesome singer in the shower (haha) and I was the fastest breaststroke swimmer on my competitive club swim team.
  19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? Travel backward because I would have loved to have moved to Louisville sooner.
  20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask Frank Morris if he survived his escape from Alcatraz.
