Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.           

On a weekly basis, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to sponsor the "20 Questions" that will feature a high school student-athlete in the local Catholic high school community. Current school: Holy Cross High School

Current Sports playing: Baseball and basketball.

Parish/grade school attended: Saint Ann (West Palm Beach, Fla.)

Colleges considering or attending: University of Kentucky

Bio: Aaron is a senior at Holy Cross High School where he plays outfield and pitches for the Cougars.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Being on the first Holy Cross basketball team to win a game at All “A” and also beating Pleasure Ridge Park this year. For baseball, starting my freshman year in our regional tournament win over Butler, and beating DeSales junior and senior year.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? I don’t like to eat much before a game but if I do it’s something small like a Kit Kat.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? I look up to Pete Rose. Even though I didn’t get to see him play, I always hear people talk about his intensity and how he played baseball the right way. That is how I try to play every day.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “I don’t know how to put this but I’m kind of a big deal. People know me. I’m very important. I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.” — Ron Burgundy, Anchorman

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? I always pray and thank God for the opportunity to finish out my senior year after my vertebrae broke in basketball, so I always go out and make the most of it.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Jake Long, the American Dragon.

8. All-time favorite board game? Candyland.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? IPhone. Instagram, @aaronstahl22.

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? Zeppelins.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? Swamp people.

12. What is your greatest fear? Spiders, I can’t even step on them because they freak me out so much.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? I like to think that I bring a positive attitude no matter the situation.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Pepperoni Hot Pockets

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? 5 p.m. because it’s game time and 10 p.m. because it’s bedtime.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Stahlion, Coach Foushee started calling me it because he said I looked like a majestic stallion running.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Franciscan Health Care Center.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can somewhat play the saxophone.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? Forward about six years to see where life has taken me

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? Wilt Chamberlain, Did you actually score a 100 points in one game?
