Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.       

On a weekly basis, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to sponsor the "20 Questions" that will feature a high school student-athlete in the local Catholic high school community. Age: 18.

Current school: Trinity.

Current Sports playing: Baseball.

Parish/grade school attended: Ascension.

High school GPA: 3.65.       

Colleges considering or attending: Bellarmine.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? My Proudest athletic moment would be beating Male in the Regional Semi's two weeks ago. I pitched a complete game and got the win.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Spaghetti with garlic bread sticks for sure.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? "Alright" by Darius Rucker.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Brandon Philips, the second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds. He's a great leader, tremendous confidence and has swagger on the field. He carries himself great.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? "It could happen." - JP (Angels in the Outfield)

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? God has given me the ability to play the game of baseball, and the opportunity to attend the greatest high school in the nation, Trinity.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Tommy Pickles (The Rugrats).

8. All time favorite board game? CandyLand.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? iPhone. Favorite app has to be twitter, Snapchat, or Instagram.

10. What is your favorite local (non chain) restaurant? Chop Shop.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? Duck Dynasty.

12. What is your greatest fear? Birds (terrified).

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? Loyalty.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Ice Cream (Eat a whole carton in one sitting, seriously).

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? I like the morning time around 10:30 -11:00, most relaxing time of the day.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? P-Roo, and I honestly couldn't tell you, someone said it once and it just stuck.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Way Side Christian Mission.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? In back yard baseball, I can throw a mean whiffle ball pitch I invented, called "the monkey ball." It's unhittable.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would go back in time. Time seemed more simple back then, and life seemed more enjoyable.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask what Hank Aaron thinks of Barry Bonds beating his record by cheating.
