The Bellarmine University women's track and field team is sending seven student athletes to the upcoming 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, which will be held May 21-23 on the campus of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.

Senior Meghan Jones leads the septet by qualifying in three events: 200 meters, 400 meters, and the 4x100 meters relay team. Jones, a multi-time All-America selection, is the school record holder in all three events and is ranked among the nation's top nine in both the 200 and 400 meters.

Emily Frith qualified for both the 10,000 meters and 5,000 meters. The Crab Orchard, Ky. native, who is a two-time cross country All-America, holds the Bellarmine record in both events in which she is competing.

Flannery Musk made the national finals in the 1500 meters. Musk, an All-GLVC performer in both track and cross country, becomes the second member of her family to compete in the national championship in this event as her older sister, Angela, competed two years ago for the Knights.

Chandler Cain, Cidnei Johnson, Meghan Roby, and Olivia Wrocklage are all part of the 4x100 meters relay team that made the field. Jones also is part of this team with Cain serving as the alternate. Earlier this season at the GLVC Championships, this team set the school mark in the event with a time of 45.97 seconds.

This will be the largest contingent of Bellarmine athletes ever at the outdoor national finals.
