St. Xavier alum Justin Thomas finished a memorable week at the Masters at Augusta National (Ga.) this past weekend.

He shot a four-round four-under-par 284 to tie for 17th place with Tommy Fleetwood. Patrick Reed won the tournament with a 15-under 273.

It was his best finish at the Masters. He placed 39th in 2016 and 22nd last year.

The former Tiger shot a 74 in the first round, a 67 in the second round, a 70 in the third round, and a 73 in the final round.

He had never shot under-par for final tournament score until this year.

Thomas had 16 birdies throughout the tournament.

Going into the tournament, Thomas was ranked as the second best golfer in the world.
