"20 Questions" With Christie Morano
Le Moyne sophomore goal scorer faces Questions
Each week, CatholicSportsNet.com will be getting to know a new student-athlete from around the country, by asking him/her a series of 20 questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the men and women who are doing great things on and off the courts, fields, tracks, and courses.
To say that sophomore forward Christie Morano has made a splash in her first two years as a Le Moyne College Dolphin would be an accurate statement.
A Highland, NY native, Morano has been a spark plug for the women's soccer program and is scoring goals at a magnificent rate. She has tallied 12 in 14 games this season, including the contest against Molloy in late September when Morano became the first member of the Dolphins to score four goals in a game in 15 years.
She also connected for a game-winning goal this past week, as Le Moyne rallied for a 4-3 win over New Haven in Northeast-10 Conference action. The Dolphins are currently 6-6-2 (4-6-2) and have three regular season games left. Morano recently took time from her goal-scoring frenzy to face the CatholicSportsNet.com "20 Questions," and her answers are below.
1) How did you choose the college you attend?
I wanted a small college that I could play soccer at and I loved Le Moyne’s campus and sports program.

My team hosts a "Kids Night Out" on Saturday nights in our college’s recreation center where all kids are welcome and we get to play sports with them.
3) How do you balance academics and your sport?
I chose to play division 2 soccer because it is all about the balance between school and soccer. Our coach is very understanding about school work and the teachers are understanding about soccer, which makes them easy to manage.
