Felician Men's XC Earns National Ranking
Golden Falcons ranked No. 9 in USTFCCCA
The Felician College men's cross-country team is the No. 9 team in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II East Region rankings released today. It is the first appearance for Felician in the regional rankings since being ranked No. 9 in the USTFCCCA preseason rankings.
The latest recognition for Felician comes on the heels of its team championship at the Cabrini College Invitational on Oct. 23. It was the second invitational championship of the season for the Golden Falcons, who have placed in the top three of every meet in which they have scored in 2010.
Led by three-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week Rob Albano (Pompton Plains, NJ) and 2008 CACC Runner of the Year James Vander Wiele (Pequannock, NJ), Felician next competes in the CACC Championship on Nov. 7.
The Golden Falcons will look to recapture the league title they claimed from 2004-08. The complete list of Division II regional rankings is available at www.ustfccca.org/featured/d-ii-regional-cross-country-rankings-week-6-october-26.
