Wildcat soccer receives complete majority of votes

In a landslide victory and in one of the most dominating performances in the history of CSN, St. Ignatius High School (Cleveland, OH) ran away with the most recent CatholicSportsNet.com viewer poll, which asked readers and fans to vote for the top Catholic high school boys soccer team in the country.

More than 1,500 people voted in the poll, and Ignatius received 1,301 total votes. The Wildcats won the state championship in 2004, 2005, and 2008 (including the national championship in 2005) and were recently named as CatholicSportsNet.com's overall No. 1 team in the country in the preseason rankings list.

This weekend, St. Ignatius has a showdown with perennial national powerhouse and three-time defending Kentucky state champion Louisville St. Xavier High School.
