"20 Questions" With Kyle Seeger

Brophy Prep soccer senior faces the Questions

Each week, CatholicSportsNet.com will be getting to know a new student-athlete from around the country, by asking him/her a series of 20 questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the men and women who are doing great things on and off the courts, fields, tracks, and courses.

Brophy Prep senior Kyle Seeger is best known for his state championship-winning goal against Hamilton on Feb. 12. He finished with six goals and 14 assists in 25 games played this past season and has committed to the University of Arizona.

1. What is your favorite pump up music for a game?

My favorite music is AC/DC, pretty much every single one of their songs but primarily You Shook Me All Night Long

2.  What is your ideal meal/snack before a game?

Pasta…I love pasta a couple hours before the game!

3. Who is your favorite teacher? Why?

Paul Fisko, because he is such a good guy, and makes learning in his class a lot of fun.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level?

I look up to Steve Nash, as an athlete because not only is he one of the nest NBA players but he is a great soccer player.

5. What is your favorite movie quote?

“We should call ourselves the Febreeze brothers, because it is feeling so fresh right now." -The Other Guys

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports?

My faith is a huge part of my sports. It keeps me going when things are going down, whether that’s injury or losing, God keeps my head up and keeps me going.

7.  What keeps you motivated?

Not only does God keep me motivated, but the feeling of winning is also what keeps me motivated, you cannot beat that feeling

8.  All time favorite board game?

Monopoly by far.

9. Blackberry or iPhone?

Blackberry, although I want the iPhone.

10. Favorite Facebook function?

Facebook Chat

11. What is your favorite reality TV show?

I don’t like reality TV.

12. What is your favorite pro team?

The Phoenix Suns. I watch almost every single game.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic?

I think my best quality is my positivity in no matter what situation we are in.

14. Gatorade or Powerade? Which flavor?

Red Gatorade is the best, and it rehydrates you beautifull.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day?

Probably around 5 o clock, because it’s not hot, and it’s not cold, it is just right.

16. Best smart phone app?

ESPN News

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service?

The Child Crisis Center, working with the kids really makes a huge impact on both theirs and my life.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess?

Dancing. I think that I am a wonderful dancer.

19. What is one thing you wish scientists would invent?

Time machines, that would be awesome to travel through time.

20. What is your proudest athletic moment?

When I scored the winning goal in the state championship to bring home the trophy.
