Big East Preseason Volleyball Poll
The Big East Women's Volleyball preseason poll has four Catholic schools among the top six teams.
Louisville was picked to win the conference with 190 points and 11 first place votes. Notre Dame was selected second with 176 points and one first place vote, while defending regular-season champion Cincinnati was chosen third with 175 points and three first place votes.
Marquette was fourth with 164 points ahead of Villanova at fifth with 137 points. Seton Hall (115), Pittsburgh (107) and USF (96) rounded out the top eight spots.
The Wildcats are in the second week of preseason training in preparation for the season opener against Maryland on Friday, Aug. 26 at the Lady Vol Classic in Knoxville, Tenn.
